Marwa Elnaggar is an Egyptian writer, award-winning poet, critic, editor, and media consultant. She has traveled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and the US. Her interests include storytelling, arts & crafts, painting, nature, music, and photography. She holds an MA in English and Comparative Literature from the American University in Cairo. She received her BA in English Literature (Hons) from the University of Delhi in India. She has studied Islam in Cairo, Egypt since 2001, where she currently resides.
Born to Egyptian parents in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), she has also lived in Somalia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Croatia (former Yugoslavia), and India.
