Maryam is a newly published writer whose day job is working as a family physician and medical director of a community health center in Nebraska.She grew up in the upper Midwest and graduated from college and medical school at the University of South Dakota before completing her residency in family medicine.In addition to writing, her other literary activities include leading a book club for 9 and 10 year old girls at a nearby elementary school.In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, writing, travelling, and all kinds of outdoor activities.
