Nazaahah A. Amin is an aspiring artist/writer/designer. Her most important roles are being a dutiful servant to the Almighty and a devoted mother. Art, like writing has always been her lifelong passion.
In 2003, Nazaahah received a degree in Graphic Design from Morgan State University. In 2006, she started her graphic design business, Ama Designs. She currently teaches at the Islamic Community School (ICS) in Baltimore, Maryland. She resides in Baltimore with her young son.
She loves doing volunteer work in her local community. She also attends and assists at many Islamic conferences, seminars, lectures and events nationwide.
She also has a passion for living a ‘green’ lifestyle. In 2008 she started a green campaign for the students and staff at the ICS entitled ‘ICS Goes Green‘. In 2008, she gave a workshop entitled, “From the Farm to the Hood, How Muslims Go Green” at the Muslim Alliance of North America's 2nd Annual Conference.
