She is currently a doctoral candidate doing research in philosophy and metaphysics of Islam. A single parent with six grown-up children and three grandchildren, she also does editing and proof-reading work which include thesis and dissertation especially on Islamic subjects. She hopes to continue in the area of Islamic research work and also write books.
