Hailing from West Africa, Umm Junayd uses her love of the written word to relay and convey the array of beautiful colors Islam holds. She does a great deal of reflecting, and her non-fiction articles, poetry and short fiction works are usually results of such reflection.
Umm Junayd is the Director of An-Najm Publishers - the UK's first Muslim publisher and retailer to specialize in Islamic fiction - and has a regular column in the Voices section of SISTERS magazine. She has had her works printed in various publications online and in print, and continues to write on a freelance basis. She currently resides in London, UK, and can be found blogging at: www.UmmJunayd.info.
