IWA Annual Islamic School Books Awards

To further its purpose of promoting literacy, each year the Islamic Writers Alliance, Inc. (IWA) selects Islamic schools to receive new fiction and non-fiction books for their library.

Islamic schools who would like to be considered for an IWA Book Award may apply in October-November of each year by completing an application and sending it by email to an IWA Board member. Board member email addresses are listed on the web site’s Contact page.

Application criteria to send an IWA Board member:

Name of the school
Address of school
Phone number of school
Name of contact person
Email contact address
Number of students
Grade levels taught
State whether you have a librarian or not (paid or volunteer)

Briefly tell the Board about your school and why you need the book award.

If your school has previously received an IWA Book Award please do not apply as there are other schools needing library books. Thank you.
