First refusal of paid independent contractor positions, subject to North Carolina employment law and federal tax laws regarding non-profit organizations.
MEMBER RESPONSIBITIES
Agree with the goals and purposes established by the IWA and strive to promote the work of IWA members and IWA publications.
Vote on issues the Board presents to the membership for the good of the IWA.
Conduct all correspondence with “best of manners.”
Inform the IWA when the member has updated contact information.
Agree that all Submissions to the IWA website will not contain racial, disparaging or such content that would be recognized by the members and the Muslim public as un-Islamic.
Pay Annual Dues of $25 by the 1st of January of each year unless exemption from paying dues or an extension on payment time is requested.
