Sheriff Olanrewaju is a major writer from Ilorin-South, Kwara State, Nigeria. An essayist, inspirational speaker, poet, and short story writer, Sheriff Olanrewaju was a former English language teacher at Al-Kawthar Model College, Ogun State, Nigeria. His contributions to poetry have been pivotal; his labour of love for literature has yielded fictional masterpieces such as the Incitements of Shaitan, The Gamut of Gospel Gimmicks andThe Porcupine and the Pompous Professor. His academic acumen at Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, earned him encomiums and accolades from comrades and contemporaries. He is the founder and coordinator of the annual Interscholastic Debate and Poetry Competition for secondary schools: An event that has recorded various successes since its inception four years ago. Sheriff Olanrewaju is presently the National Public Information Officer; Movement for Islamic Awareness through Information Technology www.miatit.org.
