About

Interested in writing since early in life, Zainib Ahmad wrote and published her first story in a children’s magazine in Pakistan when she was only twelve years old.

She has completed a diploma in freelance writing from Penn Foster University, and is now the editor of a monthly children’s e-magazine, which can be viewed at: http://aaiil.org/text/articles/lighthouse/lighthouse.shtml.

Published Work

An article about motherhood, published in Azizah Magaine, with another one soon to be published as well.

Zainib Ahmad has written a children’s book explaining hijab, titled What’s That On Your Head?.

She has also written a youth novel about the events of 9/11, for which she is trying to achieve publishing at this time.

Awards/Certificates

Zainib Ahmad wrote the winning entry for the IWA’s Islamic Fiction Story Contest of 2010: Her Hand.
